How a showdown works

Two players, the same questions, and the same clock. Swipe each mode to see every screen.

01

Standard duel

  • The arena topic picker with two topics picked and the create room button ready.
    01

Pick one topic, or several for a crucible, then send the room link to a friend.

  • The lobby showing both players, the room settings, and the ready buttons.
    02

The host sets the mode, question count, and timer, and a 3-second countdown starts once both players are ready.

  • A live question with four options, the shared timer, and both scores.
    03

A correct answer scores 500 points plus a speed bonus of up to 500 for the time left on the clock.

  • The reveal showing the correct option, both picks, and the points scored.
    04

    Correct answers in a row multiply your points: 3 scores 1.5x, 5 scores 2x, 7 scores 3x.

02

Chaos mode

  • The chaos lobby with a different home topic on each side.
    01

Each player picks a home topic, and the two topics must differ.

  • A chaos round with the defend question and the steal question side by side.
    02

Every round shows two questions, one from each home topic, on a 20-second timer.

  • The defend panel, marked with your home topic and its point value.
    03

Your own topic defends: a correct answer adds 750 points.

  • The chaos reveal showing the steal panel and the points moved between players.
    04

Your rival's topic steals: a correct answer moves up to 600 points from them to you.

The reveal lasts 5 seconds, and the higher total after the last question wins. Reopen the room link within 30 seconds of a disconnect to keep your seat. A room closes after 30 idle minutes. The server picks the questions and never sends the answer before the reveal. You can taunt your rival once every 3 seconds.

Rules learned. Time to duel.
